I have had a long time affair with photography, starting back in high school and continuing throughout college. I finally was given the opportunity to pursue it as a career, and I could not be any more excited! I love that a photograph can bring you back to a place your mind may have forgotten and show a new perspective you might not have seen.

I am located here in the always bright and sunny Orange County and travel anywhere! Thanks for stopping by! Oh and don't forget to leave me a comment or two!!

Bring on the photos!

Mrs. P and Mrs B

A few weeks back I got twice as lucky and was asked to shoot a double boudoir shoot! I had so much fun with these girls! They incorporated such cute things to really make this shoot their own even though shooting in the same location. There were soo many images that I would love to show off on the blog, like all my boudoir shoots, but they are definitely his eyes only. The girls were nice enough to let me post a few here to give you an idea of their shoots :)

First up Mrs. B

They had this amazing long window which gave us some great light!

Next up Mrs. P

I love these images on the back of her husbands bike

Thank you Mrs P. and Mrs. B for a fabulous session!

Daniel

Last week Daniel and I headed down to Venice Beach to take some pictures to update his modeling portfolio. I was lucky enough to have along my side Erin Cody (an up and coming stylist) and Colin Hendricks (my new second shooter). We were laughing the whole time and I really don’t know how Daniel was able to keep a straight face for any of these!

Colin’s view

My view, Colin’s view

Thank you to Erin and Colin for being so organized and helping everything run smoothly while we laughed. Thanks for having us out Daniel, I hope you are enjoying Hawaii!

Baby Aubrey and a little bit of Blog Love

Hey everyone I know I have been lacking in the blog posting area. I am working on getting you some eye candy this week, so check back frequently! Unfortunately I have been having some computer issues. I was able to post this from a different computer while my usual is in the shop. Its looking more and more like I will be heading over to the Apple store soon to get some new toys!

But the real reason why you are here… the images. Last week I had the opportunity to shoot some images of Baby Aubrey. She was the sweetest thing ever and had a new expression everytime I took a shot.

I love how small she looks in Mommy and Daddy’s arms

David Choi

A couple weeks back I had the awesome opportunity to shoot some images for David Choi’s new upcoming album. David has always been so extremely talented musically and when he contacted me to come out and shoot, I was really quiet giddy! David has won so many awards and is an exceptional song writer. You can check out his music and his bio here, and his YouTube account here. Look out for his album late September!

Meet David :)

Very grainy and a little outta focus, but for some reason I love it!

Favorite image of the day!

Thank you David for letting me shoot with you, oh and for helping me not be devoured by cacti, bugs, and scary biker men

Geoff & LeeAnn

Last weekend I was privileged enough to be asked to shoot a wedding along side of Jonilyn, and Jason Q Tran. Both photographers have unique styles and I loved being able to watch them in action! The wedding was held at the Ayres Hotel in Manhattan Beach. The location was beautiful and no detail was left out, thanks to Paola of Just Chic Events. The day ran so smoothly and allowed for not only the guest to relax but also, Geoff & LeeAnn.

I had such a great time at the wedding, Thank you LeeAnn and Geoff for having us there to share your big day!

LeeAnn had many hand made details incorporated into her day, including the flower in her hair made by Myra Callan of Twigs and Honey.  Most of her vendors were found on Etsy. It’s an awesome site for handmade things for your wedding. If you are a bride make sure to check it out!

Her custom made hanger cover was another beautiful detail of the day. Also made by another Etsy vendor, Holly Sew.

A few words exchanged before the ceremony

I was obsessed with LeeAnn’s flowers, I have never held a bouquet that smelled so good, the gardenias and roses put it over the top! I loved the detail of honoring Geoff’s grandmother, by having her handkerchief wrapped around the bouquet. Kristin Brancoleone of the Treasured Petal did an amazing job, every arrangement was fabulous!

Geoff and LeeAnn opted to have a first look before the ceremony. I loved that it gave them a ton of time to have portaits taken, so that they could spend more time with their guests during the reception.

LeeAnn’s hair stayed all day, despite the LA heat, thanks to Huyen Tran!

Some of the pre-ceremony details

I loved their hand tying ceremony, and the bright color ribbons they used

A happy moment during their ceremony. For my fellow runners out there Geoffs dad, Mike Manley, was actaually a past Olympian who ran the steeple chase in Munich! Not only that, he also ran on the same team as Steve Prefontaine (aka PRE!) and was good friends with Bill Bowerman who invented Nike! Check out an article on his running here. Haha, Mike was ripping up the dance floor later that evening!

Most of the reception I manned the photobooth, and there were definitely some great shots! Check in with Jonilyn’s blog for those shots, but I loved these few moments captured at the reception.
