I had an awesome time shooting Mckinze & Ryan’s wedding at the Ritz Carlton last month. The weather was definitely crazy though. Bright and sunny to start but as the images go you’ll notice the clouds move in. Mckinze and & Ryan worked it despite the weather and I could not be happier with the images the wind and clouds produced. Major thanks to Carrie Goff for keeping the day running smoothly and beautiful, and Regis for helping me capture the day! On with the images!

These ladies worked it all day, kept the mood light, and were always able to get Mckinze to laugh. Nothing like fabulous company!
Ryan wasn’t to shabby himself 
I typically do not push first looks with my clients, however, it truly makes a difference in the way the day plays out, and a big hand in creating fabulous images.
Nothing like some wind to make images dramatic. It was truly freezing before the ceremony.
The rain started coming down after we shot these images and the wind started flipping tables so the ceremony was moved in doors. The room ended up being just as beautiful with the giant chandelier
The reception room at the Ritz was fantastic. The room was gorgeous on its own, and the decorations Mckinze and Carrie chose made everything pop!
Mckinze and Ryan- Thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day! We grabbed these last images in the wine cellar in the middle of the reception room. My favorites :)

Life is finally getting to a place where I am content and ready to be a work horse again And that means more blogging. Lots more! Personal, artistic, weddings, portraits, and travels; you name it, I’ll be posting it. I am going to try to start doing daily blog posts of at least one image a day so that my friends, family, silent blog stalkers and clients can keep up with the craziness I call my life! I had such a great time capturing Jill and Brandon’s wedding. Their friends and families were so very welcoming and made my second shooter Sarah Rico and I feel super comfortable. Big thanks to Brooke Ueable for keeping the day running so smoothly. Every aspect of their wedding was very inviting, even down to their awesome ceremony site. The Little Brown Church has been around since 1930 and has married over 25,000 couples, even the former president Ronald Reagan and Nancy.

After the ceremony we were crunched on time and took almost all of their portraits in the dark. Yay for the new 5DMarkII
When Sarah Rico found the old car in the next few series of photos I could not have been more excited. How timeless is that black & white?!
