Jayson & Becky & Ed – Long Beach Family Shoot

Had soo much fun running around Long Beach with Becky and Jayson and their beautiful pup Ed :) Thanks to Lauren for helping me with Ed and letting me capture some shots of the two by themselves. Love shooting at sun set. I haven’t been able to do that in a while. That light truly makes a difference in the colors of photos. On with the images!

Kelly & Dave – Mission Inn Engagement

Had a blast running around the Mission Inn with Kelly & Dave. They both rocked out their engagement shoot and I cannot wait to shoot their wedding this month! Despite their fabulous modeling faces they actually make each other laugh all the time and made my job so incredibly easy. Dave is also the photographer of Offset Photography which made it fabulous to talk techie with and Kelly is just drop dead gorgeous ;) On with the images!

Santa Monica Engagement Shoot – Katie & Matt

I love eyes. Absolutely adore them… almost as must as I love keys ;) . I love drawing, painting, and photographing eyes. Eyes can tell you so much about where a person has been, what they’ve seen and where they desire to go. Katie and Matt have nothing short of amazing eyes! Could not stop staring at them while I was editing these… on with the *eye* candy… ha ha ha

I don’t know if eye modeling is a possible line of work but Katie should sooo go into it

Krista & Daniel Engagements – Getty Museum

Man, oh man! Lately I have been craving lots of black and white. Anyhow, I had a great time shooting Krista and Daniel’s engagements at the Getty Museum. I had actually never been, but was so excited to visit a new location. On top of that we had perfect shooting weather with some cloud cover, YUM!  I can’t wait for their wedding coming up later this year :)

Katherine & Brian – Balboa Fun Zone Engagement

This engagement session was so fun for me. Within the first 10 minutes of shooting we had already trespassed and defended ourselves against a giant spider. The shoot didn’t fail to entertain afterwards either… I’ll explain later. As you can tell Katherine and Brian are completely into each other and so so cute!

I really really wanted to shoot on a dock, however, as most of you know the docks are all private around balboa. After already almost killing Katherine we decided trespassing again would probably not be the best idea. See the image with the yellow gate below? Brian was brave enough to go knock on the door and ask if we could use the owners dock. A very old lady answered and actually ran us off. It was hilarious. You had to be there. ;)

So we sweet talked our way onto another dock

Thank you Katherine and Brian for being such great sports! I can’t wait for all your wedding day ideas :)
