I got to take some regular portraits of Molli also. We headed down to Huntington Beach to catch a bit of the sunset. The rest is self explanatory

On Sunday I also had the opportunity to shoot some pictures of Molli. She is a fabulous dancer and super pretty! Totally jealous!!

I had the privelage of not only attending my friend Deanne’s baby shower but also documenting it. It was sooo hot on Sunday with over 100 degree weather during the shower, but Deanne was able to keep cool even with a baby on board! Everyone had a ton of fun! On with the pictures!
We played a bunch of fun games. The prizes were cute little rose bushes with gift cards to places like jamba juice to keep cool in the heat!
Deanne got a bunch of awesome presents but by far my favorite was this book called Safe Baby Handling Tips. If you know anyone about to have a baby I would definately recommend this book. Everyone was in tears from laughing so hard. The front of the book even had a wheel to spin called “The Wheel of Responsibility.”

This upcoming Thursday, June 19th, is my birthday! Some of my friends have been asking me what I really want for my birthday. I got to thinking and I really don’t feel like I need anything. Instead I am asking them to donate money to buy a bed net to prevent Malaria in Africa. These nets are only $10 which includes the cost to have the nets distributed and people educate others on how to use them. These bug nets can prevent a whole family from getting malaria!
Malaria is the single biggest killer of children under five and you can take steps to prevent this horrible disease. If you want to read more about malaria and the stages of disease you can click here.
