Hilton Hawaiian Village, Ocean Crystal Chapel

While we were on vacation in Hawaii we took a day to do scouting of some of the wedding venues Oahu has to offer as well as meeting with the coordinators. One of my favorites actually ended up being the Ocean Crystal Chapel. I figured the venue would be too over crowded with guests and would allow for little to no privacy but I was pleasantly surprised that I was indeed wrong.

The chapel sits on top of a waterfall in the middle of the village and has some of the most amazing window light I have seen in a church like setting. I did not feel crowded or like other uninvited guests were joining in on the wedding because it was up so much higher.

It also had a great mirror in the brides getting ready room as well as this cute seating area for guests or bridal party to wait in before the ceremony starts.

The coordinator, Best Bridal Hawaii, has informed me that if you book between now and May 31st for a 2009 or 2010 wedding the venue will be charged at their cheaper spring rates. Check them out if you are looking into a Hawaii destination wedding :)

Maria & Eduardo

Back on Feburary I had the wonderful opportunity of getting to shoot Maria and Eduardo’s wedding. These two were so fun and I had a blast laughing with them!  These two had been together 12 years before they tied the knot! You could truly tell how much these two cared for each other and I am so happy to have been there to capture it. Thank you to Kevin Vu for coming out to help for the day.

Maria had her colors down to a t! I do not even know how she was able to find everything in the exact same shade but it looked amazing. Every detail coordinated and even her bed spread matched!

I normally do not cry at the weddings I shoot, but multiple times I found myself pretending like I had something in my eye. ;)

Though we wern’t weren’t scheduled to stay for the reception the details were so beautiful we wanted to be able to capture a few. {correction} Kevin’s image on the left, mine on the right.

Admire Fam*Bam

The Admire family was seriously a blast to shoot. The kept me on my toes the entire day with their whitty remarks. They were completely up for anything and looked great doing it. They picked the location but I think I will be back to visit these orange groves very soon!

The B Fam*Bam

When Mrs. B asked me to shoot some updated images of the family I was uber excited. The whole family is unbelievably gorgeous. I think they could model as a group haha. Does that happen?

The Boys

When Grandma K contacted me to take pictures of her two grandsons I was super excited. These two boys are related to Baby Jack that I shot a few months back and were just as cute! I am so looking forward to some warm weather and awesome summer sun! These images gave me a glimpse of the season to come.
